THE CUBE

For this task, we were given the brief of finding a interesting location within Birmingham to be able to produce some form of media piece and create a sixty second video on that location.

In our group of four, we chose The Cube Building in the new Mailbox development. I shot and edited the film myself while the group helped find some good shots and appeared in the film. It took around ten minutes in total to film on location and around forty minutes to edit.

We used the stock camera app on my iPhone 6s and used the app Hyperlapse to capture the time lapse. While on the Mac I used iMovie to edit all of the separate clips together and add in the music (Stay Stay Stay, Taylor Swift, Red), and also to adjust the sound on the final section so that the music did not cover up the audio from the video.
